Meghan Markle, il principe Harry e il piccolo Archie hanno trascorso il primo Ringraziamento con Doria Ragland, la madre di Meghan. Settimane fa si dava per certo che i duchi di Sussex sarebbero volati negli Stati Uniti, prendendosi un mese e mezzo di «pausa» dai doveri reali. Invece i programmi sono cambiati: un insider del Daily Mail ha rivelato che è stata la Ragland a volare dalla California a Londra, portando con sé “un assaggio delle tradizioni americane”. Il Ringraziamento non si è svolgo dunque a Los Angeles ma a Frogmore Cottage.

Some royal experts believed Meghan and Harry would be travelling to the US to visit Doria’s home in LA for the occasion. However, many are now of the opinion Doria has visited her daughter in the UK for Thanksgiving. An insider told DailyMail.com this month: “From what I know, they aren’t coming here (to Los Angeles). Doria is going there for the holiday (Thanksgiving).” There has even been some speculation the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could even be in Canada for baby Archie’s first Thanksgiving. Ci ha pensato la Markle a preparare il tacchino. L’ex attrice infatti pare abbia una ricetta segreta. “È una cuoca talentuosa e si diverte a riunire le persone per un pasto in famiglia” ha raccontato la royal editor Katie Nicholl. Quindi per la cena del Ringraziamento “non ci sarà alcun membro del personale di servizio ad aiutarla, indosserà sicuramente il grembiule”.
